1772 Catleyntie (Caroline) Pulver

Born: Mar. 18, 1772 (place unknown) Died: Feb. 19, 1847 at Windsor, Broome County, NY She is buried in Cascade Valley Cemetery, Windsor, Broome County, NY She is buried next to her son, John M. Burhyte. When she died she was aged 74 years, 11 months and 1 day. Her father is unknown. Her mother is unknown. She changed her name from "Catleyntie" to "Caroline", probably when she emigrated to America. She was married to 1772 Johannes Tunis Barhyte. Johannes and Catleyntie has these children together: 1792 Jacomyntie Burhyte 1794 Maria Burhyte 1796 Tunis I. Burhyte 1805 Lucretia Caroline Burhyte 1810 Betsey Burhyte 1812 John M. Burhyte (possibly born 1813) Catleyntie (Caroline) emigrated to America in 1850, bringing also her six children listed above. Tunis also brought his wife, Anna. The hand-written record at hand does not say whether or not her husband Johannes as with them, so I presume he was not. Probably he had passed away by then; he would have been at least 78 years of age when the voyage was made. Update, May 2019: there is definitely some bad information here. Catleyntie/Caroline could not have emigrated to America in 1850, at age 78, if she died in Windsor, NY in 1847. There are probably two "Caroline Burhytes" and they have become confused with each other. Also sources show 1812 John M. Burhyte born in Albany County, NY.
