The 1820 census for Masonville NY lists an Abraham Sherman and
a Job Sherman.  I believe this is Job, the father of Lewis, and
that Abraham is Job's father.  - Millie Lockwood -

NOTE: it is unclear whether the Abraham Sherman referred to here
and/or in the 1820 census would be the same Abraham Sherman born
about 1770 (father of the Abraham Sherman born between 1790 and
1800), or his third son Abraham, discussed here.
