      1858 Case VanAllstyne Conyne Obituary

Case V. Conyne dies at his Broadacres farm.


Case V. Conyne, 81, died at his home near Broadacres on Jan. 5 (1940).

He was born at Prompton, Pennsylvania on October 18, 1858 and came to
Oregon 30 years ago (c. 1910) from South Dakota.

He is survived by his widow, Mary L. Pulis Conyne, sons Charles W. of
Hubbard Route 1 and Reed C. of Monitor, daughters Miss Laura Conyne of
Hubbard Route 1 and Miss Helen Conyne of Hubbard Route 1, a sister Mrs.
Francis Bowi of Seattle, and several grand-children.

Funeral services were held from the O'Hair chapel on Sunday at 2:00 PM,
with Rev. George Cromley in charge.  Pallbearers were J.H. Livesay,
George Landon, Ed Miller, Aron Williamson, E.E. Miller, and Roy Stratton.
