Born: July 2, 1877 at Lake Como, Warren County, PA Died: 1969 at (place unknown, probably Bainbridge, NY). Her father was Edward Whitaker. Her mother was Emma (maiden name unknown) Whitaker. The Whitakers lived in Warren County, in Northern Pennsylvania. They moved to Kansas in the 1880's, then later moved back to New York state, to an area called "Michigan Hill", near the Axtell homestead. She was married Apr. 18, 1895 to Charles Elliot Axtell in Deposit, NY. They had these children together: 1896 Ethel Axtell (died after 1992) 1900 Florence Axtell (died after 1992) 1903 Millard H. Axtell (died in the 1960's or 1970's) 1906 Mary Celia Axtell (died after 1992) 1914 Ralph Elliot Axtell (died 1992) Charles was a farmer in Bennettsville, NY, and a Baptist. After Charles died prematurely 1915 at the age of 47, Olive was left a widow at the age of 37, with a dairy farm and five children to support, including the youngest (Ralph) barely a year old.
