MRS. LESTER ASBURY DEAD AT SPOKANE

LIVED ONLY TWELVE HOURS AFTER HUSBAND RETURNED FROM FATHER'S FUNERAL

Mrs. W.L. Ford, Sullivan R.R.A., has received a message informing
her of the death at Spokane, Wash., of Mrs. Asbury, wife of Mrs.
Ford's brother, Lester Asbury. She died of pneumonia Friday night.

Mrs. Asbury died twelve hours after her husband arrived home after
accompanying the body of his father, Col. A.P. Asbury, to Farmersburg
for burial. Col. Asbury died recently while visiting his daughter at
Eagle, Idaho. The funeral of Col. Asbury was held at Farmersburg last
Monday.

When Mr. Asbury left his home in Spokane to accompany his father's
body to Farmersburg his wife was in good health. She contracted
pneumonia while Mr. Asbury still was in Sullivan county and
she died twelve hours after he arrived home. Besides her husband she
leaves two children one a baby only a few days old. She also is
survived by a mother, brother and two sisters. The burial will be at
Spokane.

On account of the great distance, Mr. Asbury advised the members of
his family in this county not to attend the funeral.
