Sherman His mother was Helen Mae Snedeker In the photo here, taken about 1943, Morrell is in uniform; his brothers (1931) Wilford and (1935) Charles are shown with him. He was married Jan 7, 1943 to Faith Doris Brown at Masonville, Delaware County, NY. His training was at Sampson Naval Center, Sampson, NY. He was also in the U.S. Army (Serial # 32251169) Tec. 5 Corps of Engineers. Morrell worked at many jobs; farming in his early years, then at Crowley's Creamery, and the last few years for Pomeroy Lumber Co. He was a member of the V.F.W. of Afton, NY and the Afton Fire Dept. He loved to hunt, especially raccoon and deer. He died 6:00 AM at home on November 8, 1997 from cancer. He had three brain tumors and two lung tumors.
