A transcription of the obituary for 1920 Bertha I. Livingston: The Binghamton Press, Monday, March 12, 2001 Bertha I. (Bee) Bennett, 80, went to be with The Lord Saturday, March 10, 2001. She was predeceased by her daughter, Joyce Darling. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Harley C. Bennett; a son Harley F. Bennett and wife Linda; a son and daughter-in-law, Fred and Marie Darling; grandchildren Susan Lent and Les Miller, Timothy Sherman and his wife Lynne, Charles Darling, Erin Bennett and Evan Bennett; great-grandchildren Timothy Sherman Jr., Charles Darling Jr., Danielle Darling; nephews Kevin and Landre Howell and Frank and Bonnie Bennett, and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a brother, David Livingston. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Hillcrest. She was a CPA who owned and operated Bennett Tax Services for 45 years. She was an avid Bingo player and loved camping and fishing. Bee was greatly loved and will be dearly missed at a family get-together, over a cup of coffee, dabbing a Bingo card, across from a fish cleaning table, or sitting at her desk figuring everyone's finances. The family would like to thank the staff at Lourdes Hospital for all their loving care. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at William R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, with Dr. Robert M. St. Clair officiating. Burial will be at Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
