1926 Barbara Rose Livingston Obituary

Barbara R. Livingston, age 84, of Johnson City, died Monday, December 27, 2010, at the James G. Johnston Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Mabel Livingston,. She is survived by her cousins, Betty and John Spencer of Laceyville, PA; Irene Sivar of Salford, PA; Irma Dorothy Livingston of Loon Lake, WA; and Susan and George Anderson of Tunkhannock, PA. She was a graduate of Binghamton High School and SUNY Delhi; she was employed by Crowley's (a dairy processing plant famous in Binghamton history - ed.) She resided at Hilltop where she remained active in local activities. She was a member of the Boulevard United Methodist Church where she was a of the Lydia Circle, Mary-Martha Circle and the Progressive Class and worked in the Chow Pantry. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 1:00 pm at the Boulevard United Methodist Church, 113 Grand Boulevard, Binghamton. Her pastor, the Rev. Tony Hipes, will officiate. Burial will be in the Floral Park Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Boulevard United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements are by the Barber Memorial Home, Johnson City.
