Photo 1930 - Conyne/Pulis

This 1930 photo shows several member of the Conyne and Pulis
families, spanning three generations. The inscription scanned
from the back of the photo was written by Mary (Mae) Pulis.
The photo was taken for the 50th anniversary of Case and Mary,
on Sep. 14, 1930. Shown in this photo are -

Front row:

  ____ Mr. Rhodes - Coral's father
____ Jud Balkeorn (sp.), may be "Jud Balkeom", hard to read
  1858 Case VanAllstyne Conyne
  1857 Mary L. (Mae) Pulis
1892 Helen I. Conyne (she is sort of in the "middle row")
____ Reed Conyne Jr. (he is the teenager to the far right)

Back Row:

  ____ Marnie Conyne
  ____ Donni Conyne
  ____ Ruby
____ Coral Rhodes; she married Reed.
  1886 Reed Conyne
____ Paul (family name unknown, possibly Conyne)

We know that Mae Pulis wrote out the list of people's names on the
back of this photo - but so far we don't know who wrote the note to
the side of Mae's entry, "myself":

"Aunt Mae - sister of Oscar Pulis - she lived in Oregon"

We can eliminate children of Mae's sister Ellen; she only lived
ten months. Mae had three other siblings: Oscar, Elmer and Emory.
Given that the note says "sister of Oscar Pulis", it seems unlikely
that any of her Pulis nieces would have written it that way (and
it looks like a woman's handwriting).

So I am guessing that it was written by a woman married to a Pulis
nephew - but so far, that is only a guess.
