Lila Knowlton

Lila L. (Ward) Knowlton of Unadilla, NY, went to be with her Lord and Savior
on July 5, 2017 and was reunited with her beloved husband, Ryle Gilbert Knowlton,
who predeceased her in 1998 after 43 years of marriage.  

She is survived by her loving family - 3 devoted children and their spouses:

  Michael (Debra) Knowlton, 
  Sherry (John) Dee and 
  Mark (Deborah) Knowlton

by 12 grandchildren who adored her and will always remember "cousin time" 
and Spaghetti Night at 3 Teller Street - Sara (Jason) Wanaselja, Mathew, Allen,
Christopher, Elijah, Nicholas and Xavier Knowlton, Daniel (Amy), Ted and
Brad Burke, Christy (William) Naugle and Brian Knowlton -

by six precious great-grandchildren whom Lila said "filled her heart with joy" - 
Lily, Miranda, Patricia, Hunter, Marlee and Parker.  

Her two loving brothers and their spouses also survive her - Lloyd and 
Margaret Ward of DE and Loren and Dorothea Ward of Bainbridge, NY, along 
with many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who always stayed 
near and dear to her heart.  Lila truly made a difference in the lives of 
many children, youth and young people, many of whom loved and fondly 
called her Grandma.


The family will receive friends on Monday, 7/10/17 from 5 pm - 7 pm at:
