He was married July 24, 1976 to Janice Miner at Afton, NY.
They were later divorced.  Janice was born Feb. 10, 1956.

They had three children together:

  James Robert Sherman          born May  4, 1982
  David Alan Sherman            born         1984

He was married May 31, 1997 to Charlene Stevens/Crumb at the 
Agape Baptist Church on Kings Settlement Road in Norwich, NY.
