Northern Star Silk Factory

The Northern Star Silk Works Factory was located at the 
western end of Hancock, New York, near the southern end of 
Sands Creek Road, aka Delaware County Road 67, which ran 
between Hancock and its neighbor to the north, Cannonsville.

The factory was owned in the 1930's by a Mr. Vanderbilt.

My grandparents Manville Sherman and Bessie Ann Dutcher
and my aunt Ruth Esther Sherman all worked there, my grandparents
for a number of years.
